Opening its doors in Piazza Mignanelli 23, PM23 is the new venue hosting cultural initiatives supported by the Fondazione Valentino Garavani e Giancarlo Giammetti.

Built in the late 19th century as a school and printing house for the Propaganda Fide, the space has been reborn through an urban regeneration project envisioned by Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti. Today, it stands as a hub for fashion, art, and culture—offering the city of Rome a space to support creativity and talent, guided by the founders’ vision.

The opening of PM23 marks a new cultural chapter for the Fondazione.

Its exhibition and cultural program pays homage to the legacy of Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti, celebrating the dialogue between fashion, art, and society through a contemporary lens.
PM23 aims to become a reference point for emerging and established creatives alike, supporting their work through educational initiatives and interdisciplinary projects.

Guided by the principle “Beauty Creates Beauty,” PM23 enters the cultural landscape as a space of exchange and growth, where beauty is understood not only as aesthetic value but as a tool for social and cultural progress—reflecting the core mission of the Fondazione Valentino Garavani e Giancarlo Giammetti.

PM23 also features a dedicated bookshop offering a curated selection of publications on fashion, art, and design.
To accompany the first exhibition, the official catalogue will be available—featuring exclusive images of the dresses and artworks on display, as well as original texts and insights by critics and curators.
